Ability to do something against a situation, task or individual that scares you is courage. Ability to face the unexpected is Courage. The ability to face any consequence without fear in mind is courage.
Courage often plays up to make you take that plunge i.e. to do or not to do that bit. It often creates that barrier igniting decisions making and contemplation and worrying about the consequences.
Courage is broadly six types which impacts decision making and actions. It plays with your mind, thoughts & actions. If mapped and controlled can lead to deciphered deliverables.
Physical Courage: It needs actions which includes physical strength, it often involves actionables which require physical form. The fear of physical harm or may be death is the deterrent here. One can overcome this by sheer developing physical strength or being aware of your limitations.
Social Courage: The belief of not being judged within your social environment Friends, Family or Peer. Being able to accept the social environment with conviction of not deter on decision making on social grounds facing yourself from embarrassment, rejection or left out.
Spiritual Courage: The Courage revolves around the question of WHO WE ARE? WHAT DO WE DO? Find your purpose and the central thought that holds your spiritual existence.
Intellectual Courage: The acceptance of an expectation that learning is forever and one can learn from anyone is an intellectual courage. Not being weighed down by a false pride that I know it all and being unwilling to take any learning from others needs courage of some sort that keeps one grounded.
Emotional Courage: The ability to get past the situations that may have an impact on the emotional quotient like Sadness, Happiness, Anger, Joy, Sorrow etc needs a belief which inhibits an individual to take stance.
Moral Courage: Standing up against all odds that may be against one’s moral values i.e. deciding to take a stand that may arise out of an ethical delima. Taking a stance upholding the moral values needs moral courage.
The six form of courage if imbibed can make one immortal. Mastering these six forms can ensure that any amount of surmounted pressure can leave you undeterred of the circumstances and be fearless.
